In On Demand CloudConnect you link your documents to us through the internet
cloud, in On Premises you install the viewer software on your servers. Read more

How much does it cost to use the Adeptol On Demand
CloudConnectTM?
You pay nothing. It is Free for basic use under Fair Usage Policy. If you need advanced controls, API
access, no bandwidth or viewing restrictions, no ads then simply purchase a
Personal License of CloudConnect.
What is Adeptol On Demand CloudConnectTM
Product Fair Usage Policy?
Starting Oct
1,2009 a Fair Usage Policy is being set up on the free usage on the Adeptol
CloudConnectTM
Product. This change
is to limit the load on Adeptol Servers serving
the requests and let everyone have a chance to the use the product at it's
optimal performance. The Free version of
the product would be limited to a 100 GET document viewing requests each month.
After the 100 documents limit is reached, the requests will no longer be further
served. If you expect your usage will be more than 100 requests per month, then
you should purchase the
Personal License of CloudConnect. There
is no document requests limit on the
Personal License of CloudConnect.
What is Personal License of Adeptol On
Demand
CloudConnectTM?
A personal license of CloudConnect gives you added benefits with a
faster and better viewing experience for your customers. You get no ads or
popups, no document requests or bandwidth limitations, unlimited usage, your own branding, customized UI, ability to switch off printing on

CloudConnectTM?
First step is to get the key
from here
and then follow the instructions
here to link up your webpage. It's that simple.
So do I need to upload documents on to
Adeptol servers to have the document displayed in the viewer?
No, documents
always remain on your server. They are rendered on the fly, real time and displayed in
the viewer when requested. No Uploads are needed or happen. If you have very few
documents, we recommend you should look at
Docuter where you can upload document once and
let your users view them afterwards.
What is Docuter?
Docuter is a
document sharing site where you can upload your documents and share them with
others. You can also embed the uploaded document viewer in your webpages, blogs,
facebook, myspace and other social networking sites.

Which programming language can
CloudConnect work with?
CloudConnect is simply a HTML code that you add in your webpage. So you can embed it any programming
language and there are no requirements on server side. On client side, your
customers simply need to have Adobe Flash installed to view your documents.
What is CloudConnect Cache feature?
Starting Sep 28,2009 an advanced
Caching capability has been added to CloudConnect for developers to allow faster
document viewing for documents which do not change much and which are not
sensitive or mission critical. CloudConnect Cache feature is in beta for now and
will remain in beta for next few weeks. (By default Cache is switched off for
all documents and unless you explicitly specify document to be cached, it will
not be cached on Adeptol Servers.)
